UCT is a well established registered charity and accomplished Community Transport Scheme, that provides wheelchair accessible, door-to-door transport, for people of all ages who find it difficult to use public transport.

UCT’s services are driven by its customers, whose representatives sit on our Advisory Committee. In addition to regular services, our customers also lead a group outings facility, telling us where they want to go.

UCT’s success stems from customer involvement, a hardworking and creative work force and our key partners Essex County Council, whose objectives overlap our own and whose grant aid together with a grant from Uttlesford District Council have enabled our development

UCT’s “can-do” approach delivered in excess of 25,000 passenger journeys in 2007/8. We are on target to exceed that number this year, Our ongoing aim is to provide creative solutions to complex transport problems.
